Default velutina flowering?

But there is no sign of banana's coming. Why is this as I thought if a plant sent out a flower it would fruit? Could it be since its potted thats the reason?

Thanks

The fact that the plant is in a pot might be the reason you are not seeing fruit. Pots get drained of nutrients very quickly. Have you been feeding the plant? Just a thought. Do you have any pics, that might help identify the problem.

Nope I bought it with a flower starting on it. I have not feed it as I was worried about it maybe burning or stressing it. I repotted it in a bigger pot and used half of our compost soil as well. The two pups are steady growing beside it,but the flower just keeps opening up and getting smaller and smaller. I can try and get a picture tomorrow sometime. Maybe I will go ahead and feed it tonight. I water it 2-3 times a day. Thanks Guys!
