Re: Well it's that time GH is filling Up!
I dread bringing plants inside and under the house this time of year!! I need to build a greenhouse for next year, seeing as how the stuff that won't go under the house is in the garage under a 400 watt sodium light.
Looking good in there! When do you anticipate those rajas to bloom? How's your mauritius coming along? I'm sure if I had a nice greenhouse like yours, I'd be growing pineapples too, along with who-knows-what else! Couldn't begin to tell you how many palm seedlings I have going now as it is. I'm hoping for a mild winter, but something tells me we are going to get hit hard this year. Let's hope I'm wrong! |

Re: Well it's that time GH is filling Up!
I'm digging those pineapples. Maybe someday mine will look that nice. I've talked to my wife about the possibility of moving to Denmark when we retire and this is exactly what I have been talking about! I'll need to build a very large green house to grow the kind of plants I like.
Bigdog, All the weather people are calling for a mild winter so lets keep our fingers crossed! Last year we got hammered with heavy rainfall and freezing temps here in So Cal. |

Re: Well it's that time GH is filling Up!
I hear ya! A definite pain in the lower back. All mine get lifted, in pots, from the yard, onto the deck, then into the house.
I had to cut back on the number of pineapples I have because they are too big (and dangerous with those serrated leaves!) in the house. But, when it's cold and yucky outside, having all these naners in the house is excellent. seahorse |
