What Banana Tree is this?
http://
Does anyone know what Banana trees these are? The ones in the picture are from the same corm and both mother plants from these suckers produced fruit last year but I couldn't get a picture. Could anyone tell me what it could be by the leaves and the pseudostem? Thanks |

Re: What Banana Tree is this?
I'm no expert, so wait for someone else to chime in, but I think I can say not Namwah. The pseudostem on mine have a pink tint near the base.
Not to point out the obvious, but it looks like a white tag in the ground next to the plant. What does that say? Maybe a nursery name? |

Re: What Banana Tree is this?
It's consistent with Orinoco, but without pictures of the flower and fruit, I can't say for sure.
