At least 14 feet trunk alone, and to the tops of leaves probably 25 to 30 feet. Check out my other pic I just put up, the leaf on the left is the largest leaf I have ever seen. It's got to be at least 10 feet long...I am naming this one King Kong

I was searching for a variety called Sucrier for a while,but I didn't know I already had it, was told this one is called fig banana. I really like the way this one looks. The leaves are very flat, and have a roundness at the ends if the leaf. Nice bunch too.

Wouldn't normally post pics of tall Namwah bunches because they're so productive but this one is crazy. 13 hands. Definitely my most ever for a Namwah.



Then this one is Virupakshi. First time fruiter for me - a very quick grower and a super pretty plant. Excited to try the fruit.

My first bloom on my first Banana tree. Here is my 4 yo Blue Jave that has been container grown in my greenhouse for the winter months and outside for the summer months. I planted it in the ground this year because it was just too tall for the greenhouse. Just now am seeing the emerging flower at a height of 7'2".

My "ice cream banana" has pinkish flowers, I assumed it was namwa.

I have no idea what it was supposed to be. It's been an extremely slow grower. I planted a nice pup summer of 2020 and it's taken it's sweet time ever since. even the flower has taken an inordinate amount of time to pop, roll and begin to open. It's probably too late for them to fill out but at least I'll be able to figure out what it is.

Also one of Lou Ferrigno's tribe just flagged. Sheesh

I'm curious why it can't be namwa? Does it have pink on the stem? I bought mine with the pinkish flowers as an 'ice cream banana'.

I really have seen enough in my whopping 2 years of growing so I guess it could be a namwah. It just seems the other 2 I had fruit didn't seem to spread out so much
