Default Who made there own rain barrels?

My parents are using big metal drums that caught the car port/pool barn gutters. Now where we live I have no access to the gutters and can't use a ugly metal barrel.

I will need something that can caught/hold alot of water, have a lid on it and a nozzle to remove the water. show me your projects! Thanks

The food industry uses large plastic barrels with screw-top lids, often sold wholesale as "pickle barrels" but rarely used for that purpose nowadays. I have seen 50 and 80 gallon sizes. A few of those plus some PVC pipe parts should meet your needs.

By the way, some people keep "their" rain barrels over "there" !

You can either hire a consultant or start learning where the restaurant supply stores and wholesalers are in your region.
