Default Why does my plant look like this ?

Noticing some kind of abnormal stuff with my young goldfinger plant. New leaves look sort narrow and lop sided. Noticed new growth came out VERY whiteish colored. Notice some red coloring on the petioles today. I am thinking maybe it needs a boost of nitrogen ?

About a month ago I gave all three of my plants a slug of wood ashes. The other two are happy and can be but this one is acting funny. I am thinking I over did it maybe with the wood ashes and robbed the nitrogen? I am not too sure. Something def seems off. I have given it some iron, and a little blood meal, seems a little better.
