![]() Resembles my basjoo in this young state. Growing very fast. Stems don't darken until the plant matures. You can read about it at Florida hills web page thats where I ordered it from

![]() My Thai black from Florida hills has about 2 feet of stem now, and it's turning black, so it really is a Thai black. I think most of the problems from FH has to do with edibles, they are all so similar to start with. I have ordered quite a few from FH, and so far they are all correct. Not positive, but I have noticed that FH stock all matches TC companies offers like Agristarts, and AG3, (All the cannas are the same offerings as AG3) so pretty sure that's where FH obtains them. So maybe the mix up happens from the suppliers, and not just FH itself. I think some people get the impression that FH does its own TC culture, but pretty sure it doesn't, even though it sort of words it that way.

![]() Nice ornamental with a blackish trunk, has some cold hardiness down to zone 7, I am guessing with lots of mulch. A form of Musa balbisiana, so far my Thai black has been a very rapid grower.
