Bananas Brindando

I have an Ensete glaucum which I raised from seed. It's 8-10 years old. I haul it in and out every spring and fall. I noticed it is starting to BLOOM! which, considering I live in Denver, is pretty remarkable. Is the plant doomed to die after bloom, or will it sucker and regenerate?
THANKS
