Use a sharpie and number each banana on the end. It is still easy to use the same number twice, but you will catch it easier than counting in your head and guessing...did I count that banana or not? If you don't like sharpie you can use a grease pencil that wipes off later. Good luck and thank you again.

As of 8/8/2013 at 12:01am there was no post about the bananas being successfully counted. I am sure G.W. will arrive at an accurate method of counting soon. The suspense was killing me so I at least congratulated the winner....

yesterday when a I tried to count a breeze picked up and it became totally pointless

the hands went 17, 16, 15, 14, and then all 14 till I got into the last couple smaller ones and I lost it DOH !
DAMN HORSEFLY !!!!! EEEEOOOOOWWWW!!!!!!!

on my way now with a stepladder and some string to isolate hands then mark and count each

the two votes in after midnight don't count

Okay so the game is delayed....at least let us compare notes on how we arrived at our numbers or what we would have guessed if we could have changed our guess. Maybe a range of...

I first tried to count the bananas showing..just like G.W. I lost track quickly. Then I looked up some stats about FHIA 17 like average production in field tests. So the average in this test was 13.6 hands and 16.6 fingers= 226. But Like G.W said his hands were more consistent with 14 fingers.
Then Abnsherk posted " There's 90-something showing on the front side.. what's that tell you.. :^). So I put up tracing paper to a blown up version of the picture, then I numbered each banana-113 bananas showing=doubled is 226...
G.W. said you cannot go over so I backed it off to 215.
