Congrats Patty! You'll know what a male flower once you see one. They are much smaller and attached to tiny fingers that shrivel up and turn brown even falling off in most cases.

Like this. This was a Cavendish I believe, they tend to hold the male flowers even after they have shriveled and turned brown. You can see the fingers that the female flowers were attached to at the top of the pic. See the size difference?
