Default Musa Aeae soil and air temperature

Hi everyone I live in the uk and have recently purchased a musa Aeae. It's very slow growing so what I'm asking is does anyone know the best soil and air temperature for this species. Plus I've been told to grow them in just perlite. Is that good advice? Many thanks

Care for your plant just like you would other banana plants.
There are some good threads in the forum on soillesss mix's and growing conditions.
Youtube offers some great how to videos on banana care too.

Good luck and have fun.
Send us a photo of your plant once it sort itself out.

Hi it's a heated conservatory. But might need better care as it's very small.
