Butia Capitia Palm
i'm looking for 3-6 quarts fully ripe fruit..
wanta try jelly and checking to see if anyone may have and cost involved.. as i have this palm here in 20 gal container and wanted to know if it was worth growing for jelly.. oh yea it's a beautiful palm to boot..

I have tried them from several trees. Some are OK, but when you get a good one, it is like chewing a Pina Colada - very delectable.

The best time to get the fruit here is second half of july to very earl aug at the latest or ants and ground pests will be eating them off the ground.
