AeAe for northern growing...
I cant stand it any more I have to have an aeae. But I want to experiment with it, i want to treat it like my other bananas and dig it in the fall and store it dormant or if it will fit in a south facing window. Still waiting for when my tax return comes in....so I was hoping someone could hook me up with a decent deal. Id be willing to send you back a pup when it pups if you want (kinda like pick of the litter....lol). Anybody interested?

Re: AeAe for northern growing...
I'm going to a local nursery that USUALLY has some AeAe in 3 or 5 gal pots. I'll let you know if I find any and the price. I need another one too.

Re: AeAe for northern growing...
It is spring time and If I was a betting man, you will see some here. I picked some up this winter. It is a beautiful plant and worth the money in my opinion. I would say the average price is $100 per plant. Hopefully the people that have them will contact you here or via PM. Hopefully it will thrive enough to get pups and you can sell them to recoup you money and make it one of these common bananas of the USA. Not sure if you know but not all pups will be varigated. From what I have read, looks like 1 out of 4-6 pups will be viable. I cannot wait to see mine as they get bigger. Good Luck!

Re: AeAe for northern growing...
Try Magilla Gorilla, I?m getting one from him, don't know if he has any left though. I just happened to see a note from him about storing cromes and the word AEAE popped out at me, so I got ahold of him-my lucky day-good luck

Re: AeAe for northern growing...
You might try PMing BadPun. He has a huge mat of them. He doesn't check his email very often, so be patient. Not sure if he would want to ship.

Re: AeAe for northern growing...
Have you thought about ebay as a last resort? There's been some on there lately.

Re: AeAe for northern growing...
I'd rather get one here from a member...I've seen to many horror stories from people trying to get them off of eBay.
