Newbie Seeks Anything (dwarf!) Same Old Story. Lol.......well, ya know.... I generally prefer to swap, but will probably end up buying a couple dwarf edibles in the next few days, since this is the time to get yer nanners going. I have m.velutina seeds just now sprouting that I can swap, begonia bogneri and b.luxurians, both very cool species to have. Thanks, Rick in CT banana wrangler (wannabee...) |

What varieties/prices?
I just called my local Lowe's, and got "uh....we sell banana plants??!" I'll have to try again. Thanks! Rick in CT banana wrangler (wannabee) |

Re: ....nsa...sos...lol.....
Dosn't matter what they are. They are in pots which make the transplant much easier and nice size. Wish our local store had some. I bought some from a local nursery for $9.00 an gave them away to friends hoping they may get as interested in bananas as I am.

Re: ....nsa...sos...lol.....
Actually, it would make a difference to me, since they'll spend 8 months a year indoors. I'd rather not have a horizontal giant in the basement, lol! It is a good way to get friends interested tho....
