SH 3640, FHIA 3, Coccinea
Hello everyone,
Does anybody happen to have SH 3640, FHIA 3, Coccinea banana plants that they would like to sell or trade? I know I can get these from Going Bananas, but I thought I would see if anybody would be interested. Thanks. |

Re: SH 3640, FHIA 3, Coccinea
Hi servatusprime,
I unfortunately don't have any of these varieties to sell or trade, but I do know that Florida Hill Nursery just got in a shipment of FHIA-3 Sweetheart plants. There's been mixed reviews on bananas.org and other places due to the owner's sometimes off comments, but I've ordered from them several times and have always been very satisfied with my order. They're also reasonably priced, a TC w/ shipping costs around $14. Here's the link: Musa FHIA-3 Sweetheart Banana plant tree Musa FHIA-3 Sweetheart Banana plant tree [] - $7.99 : Banana Plants & More Tropical Plants For Sale, Florida Hill Nursery Hope this helps!

Re: SH 3640, FHIA 3, Coccinea
Thanks Andy. I appreciate the heads up. After conducting more research and talking to a couple of other members, it seems that FHIA 3 isn't the best banana. The description on going bananas got me interested but apparently the banana doesn't live up to the hype. I still would love to try the SH 3640. My wish list has changed to include Chini Champa or any other good producer with great fruit.
