Velutina among other things
Hi everyone. Hope all is well. I lost a lot this past winter since we got 14 inches of snow with prolonged cold. I even lost a few palms that were 2-3 years old!
Anyway, I'm looking for some banana pups. Please let me know if you know where to find some, aside from Going Bananas, etc. I'd like to buy them from a member on here first. I'm interested in Velutina, dwarf and tall cultivars, hardy species (sikkimensis, ornata, and/or other subtypes). Meanwhile, I'm also looking for elephant ear types, even though this isn't the post for that. Thanks! |

Re: Velutina among other things
Sorry about your loses. I wish I could help but surprisingly enough, not a single one of my bananas has a new pup yet! Actually my velutina is making its first pup now, but its going to take at least 2 months for it to be big enough to divide (and I would prefer to have a few more pups on the plant so it is nice and full).
Good luck!

Re: Velutina among other things
I've got some elephant ear types. You can either PM me or send an email to robgarren@hotmail.com. I may even have a few bananas, but we'll see what kind of pups I start getting.
