you get banana plants in Germany at Achims Bananenshop, http://www.bananenshop.de Also hardy varieties like Musa basjoo. Achims lives but in Austria, but he also ships banana plants to Germany without any problem in the reason of the EU membership of Germany and Austria, without customs inspections and without phytosanitary certification because of the Schengenian agreement.
