Thank you for the recipe Lorax!!
And thanks to everyone else that contributed the little 'extras'!! The rose extract reminded me of my Mom's use of violet & orange water also when baking, making jellies and desserts. I still use orange water when I make my Tembleque & in some of my small individual serving cakes & petit fours. Very Tasty! Wonderful thread!! ~Cheryl

I love this recipe and will give it a try! Thank You for sharing with us!!! I buy all my spices etc from Penzey's, great place, excellant products and they are always giving samples away which I like.

And despite that whole rigamarole, they're actually very easy to make - it's the work of about an hour and a half, including the whole baking-cooling-dipping thing..
