Would you please reply to this thread with indications of whether or not you would be interested in October, November or December. We need a minimum of 16 attendees to make the numbers work for Carol's travel expense. If I can get a reliable head count, at least then I won't have to go through all this only to have it cancelled.

BTW, those of you that prepaid should contact Carol directly for your refunds. I believe that she sent out an email to all who registered, but just in case you didn't get one.... Carol also offered to carry over your deposit to the next workshop if you like as an option.

I opted for next banana specific workshop instead of a refund. Any Saturday of any month will work for me.

I am interested in the workshop, matter of fact Carol emailed me yesterday about Troy, OH and asked if I was interested. It's on a Sunday so I can't go. I was looking at Washington D.C. or Charleston, S.C. Travel is not a problem for me. Keep me in the loop if you would, I want to attend this year if possible.

The proposed workshop never happened because we did not get enough people sign up and none in scheduled for our group now. If you join at Home Tissue Culture* Group you will get an instructional DVD (I'm not positive that offer is still active).

I also conducting Tc training in my lab. I teach not only Tc bananas but also for woody plant, bannana, caladium, anthurium etc.if anyone interested and near to Indonesia or in travelling here, i would like to offer you join in my Training.

Anyone in the Cincinnati area there will be a Plant TIssue Culture Workshop on Feb 6 at Cincinnati State College. This class is being presented by Home Kitchen Culture Education.

I didn't know we had this thread. I think a class would be life enriching & liberating even. :^) I'll have to see if they have something like that around here.
I guess whoever thought it was a dumb idea wasn't thinking about keeping 2 & selling the rest away or just covering expenses for the experience, had on some blinders.

Tc training in my lab include:
- preparing tools
- Making the Media (MS)
- Sterilizing explant (for example bananas) and initiation
- Sub Culture
- Acclimatize
Training for one day from 09.00 - 16.00
Cost for 1 day training is 100 $ (for private training/even only one student)
