buying banana plant east coast
Hay all
I am fairly new to the sight .and have been growing bananas for about 3 years now in the central east side of n.j. Most of my plants came from green earth (ted)and he has been great and all pups healthy. And fair priced but some of the variety I would like to try he doesn't carry . I just ordered from oasis tropical plants .a fee weeks ago don't no how they are yet. Just wondering if anyone here has tried and true places with good, quality plants at a good price . Thanks again love the sight |

Determine which plants you want and then find a member that's growing them. Many members have more than they want and just kill the extras.

Re: buying banana plant east coast
I'd get something from the East Coast to reduce the travel time of your plants. You can pick from many sellers IE... Logee's, Going Banana's, Green Earth.. I just wouldn't pick Willis Orchard or TyTy.. :^)

Re: buying banana plant east coast
I use greenearth a lot Ted is a amazing seller .and will Exept any ? You have and answers your emails quick.
His variety I think are best suited for the area .so some of the more "exotics" he doesn't have . But what he doas have comes to my home in great condition .and packaged the best from all the company's I order from. Oasus tropical plants has a hug variety .but many worn against ordering there. I ordered before seeing these review's. I placed 2 orders 1 shiped rt. Away and came in fair shape and size . The first order I didn't see or here anything about .I emailed them about 2 days later I reseived a copy of there shiping policy. I informed them they already shiped nanners to me and that I was confused. They got back rt. Away .and stated they see why I would ? That and shiped my order out - the papia plant witch couldn't hand the cold temps. I got my nanner 3 days later .and there were 3 plants in good shape. (note) I only order 1 . So as for that experience with oasis it wasn't to bad . There email was alittle slow for a company that has such a nice web sight .and a long employee contact list.. but there contact was polite and professional. and there is no packing slips stating what you Recieved and what is being held back from your order.or helpful hints for the new grower .. The few other EBay companys I ordered from I will never do again.plants came quick but in poor. Shape and 1 gave me top disease witch hurt the lot. Live and learn Thanks guys for your time |
