Musa balbisiana seedlings for trade...cold tolerant?!!
I have some seedlings that are maxing out 1 gallon pots. They were real slow growing on the coast, then as soon as they came inland for higher temps they took off.
I'm not sure how hardy they are, but they are from somewhere in northern India so they will have more cold tolerance than most. Compared to a species from bananatree.com called M.paradisica they are more cold tolerant in their one gallon pots than that type in it's 20 gallon pot in my zone 8, but I guess that is relitive. Re: Musa balbisiana seedlings for trade...cold tolerant?!!
Hey Pitangadiego
I guess I left that part out! Here's a mini list of trades I'm seeking- M.FHIA 03, M.'Rose', M.'dwarf namwah pearl'(both mine croaked), M.veluntia, flowering ornamentals, E.perrieri, E.cluay pa(E.suberbum thai), and seed grown plants. I basically want to test species for cold hardiness, and keep the ones that do well. Kyle As far as selling I' rather trade, but I would sell a few. Not really sure how much, maybe 10 bucks(not including shipping). |
