| Banana Seed Germination Forum As one of the toughest seeds in the plant kingdom to figure out the keys to germination success with, this is a forum with banana seed germination tips. Please entitle posts like "Musa balbisiana," or "Musa cheesmani," etc. People would then post a reply under that heading, sharing their germination successes (and failures), what materials and methods they used, germination percentage, etc. |

I have a sprout :)
I planted 50 seeds from Musa cheesmani 3 weeks ago and today I saw that one had germinated!
What do I do now? wait until it gets larger? I have them in a propagator without light. hope there will be more   |

That is great hope they keep growing. I have been trying to find some seeds and had no luck can you please help me ? I need them for my kids school protect, they picked bananas to try to start . Can some help us.our address is PO box 152 yucca AZ,86438! Any help will be great. God bless to all.thanks to all with all the info.

Update!!It grows! 10 Cheesmani and 8 sikkimensi red tiger have germinated so far. Hoping for more.
