Banana Seed Germination Forum As one of the toughest seeds in the plant kingdom to figure out the keys to germination success with, this is a forum with banana seed germination tips. Please entitle posts like "Musa balbisiana," or "Musa cheesmani," etc. People would then post a reply under that heading, sharing their germination successes (and failures), what materials and methods they used, germination percentage, etc. |

HI NANNERS!
do some people succeeded at germinating nana seed in low light conditions or no light conditions ? wil a fluoresent light do as a subsitude for sunlight ? WHAT is scientificaly the germination succes rate at high light and low light conditions. SOrry about the spelling i got sticky nanner fingers

I'm not sure if there is a difference between low, and high light levels since they also germinate in pure darkness.
I think you'd be better off to be more focused on the tempature, and how much it fluctuates. Good luck! |
