I assume that Hawaii's grading system is similar to the grading systems used internally by the international companies.

I gotta say..Mine I grow here, would make the No 1 without any problems 90% of the time . Rain wile the Cavendish are flowering seems to enhance bloom rot rather quickly for me..
I very rarely see any damaged fruit for sale here. At 39 to 59 cents a pound its amazing how they keep the quality as good as it has been

For comparison, these are the EU grades. An EU banana can be 1"-2" shorter
