![]() Will bananas disappear from the tropics? This article explains the history and current efforts of finding new banana hybrids that are resistant to disease. I found it interesting. Maybe the only banana growers in the future will be in cold climates like zones 7 and 8 where freezes can kill diseases. Wouldn't that be ironic?
