Default Bunchy top or another virus?

Noticed some strange appearance to some of the leaves on my double mahoi. It's a rippling appearance. Was wondering if there is something going on (bunchy top or other virus). Thanks for any insight you can share.

I see this sort of thing when the weather gets cold and the bananas stop growing for a while. It looks like you're in Hawaii, though, so that doesn't seem very likely. At any rate, I've only seen this as an isolated leaf, and the next leaf will come out quite normal.

Look for the j-hooks to determine if it's bunchy top. I've had my double mahois throw out stranger leaves than any other types.

Thank God I have no experience with BTV, but have seen leaves like that after fertilizing with some fertilizer that was not intended for banana plants. When was the last time you have fertilized and with what?

I only use dedicated banana fertilizer, and I don't use a lot of it.

In the 6 weeks preceding these photos I probably fertilized the banana twice. I've recently been using chicken manure exclusively.
For what it's worth, none of the banana starts at the base have shown any leaf abnormalities. The plant is question has not produced any additional leaves in this time, because the bananas are nearly ripe and it's life cycle is nearing it's end.
Thanks everyone!

My velutina and enano Gigante did that as well this spring, when we had a sudden cold snap (up here we call it a "Blackberry winter" - opposite of an Indian summer). I supposed it to be a jolt from the leaves suddenly stopping growth. Now that it's warm again, leaves are emerging normally again.

Ca-B deficiency is a possibility. It also looks similar to what happens when you get some glyphosate drift.
