Default Deficiency or disease?

Hello,

My smaller Orinoco Tall pup put out a leaf that doesnt evenly darken like the rest of the leafs but has lighter colored areas and darker ones. This is totally different from the effect my Hua Moa has. Here are a few photos:

The color difference seems subtle in the photo due to the sun,its greater than it appears but still not too clearly defined and intense. You can see there is darker and lighter colored tissue along the same leaf vein in some of the veins and that there are some darker and other lighter colored ones as well. You need to look well to see the pattern as the intense sun hides it. In shade its clearly visible.

Whole pup

Leaf

Whats the cause of the above? Is it a deficiency or even disease or what?

Thank you very much in advance!

Looks normal to me too, sometimes they are looking like this when young. Let it grow out some and see if it changes.

Thank you very much Richard and Gabe for your replies!

I was waiting to get a decent, recent photo to reply as 2-3 weeks ago,my small Orinoco Tall pup put out this leaf:

Whole pup. If you check the photos at my earlier post, you will see it only grew one leaf all this time! The yellowing you see developed recently for some reason(no idea why but it happened after almost 2 weeks of very strong winds).

It has been extremely slow since and still hasnt even got a cigar leaf showing after all these weeks! The growth is ultra slow and has pretty much only grown the petiole length in all these weeks while all my other bananas have put out 1-2leafs in general.
Is the above leaf and slow growth normal or a sign of disease and if disease, what is it and what can be done?

Thank you very much in advance!

Get some calcium nitrate and spray your trees with it a few times and see if the condition improves. I had some similar symptoms that turned out to be calcium related

Thank you very much for your reply and help Nicolas!

I fertilized all my bananas today with an organic, complete fertilizer for fruit trees which has solved Ca related deficiencies i had on my bananas earlier in the summer(necrotic patches on the newly emerging leafs). I really hope and wish its just nutritional and the extra fert and water result in normal leafs and fast growth
