Is it normal for a young banana plant's leaves to fold in direct sunlight?

Many plants will fold or shrivel their leaves in the heat of the day.
They are saying NO MAS !!!!!
Highway crews do it all the time

I keep my young nanner in partial shade. It's in partial shade till about 3pm then it's in full sun till 8pm
