![]() My Veinte Cohol grew too tall this summer for me to bring its container inside and grow under lights over winter. I had to chop her down. I now have a stump under lights, wondering if there’s something I should do to prompt regrowth. Or if I’ve already messed up.
The Veranda didn’t get too tall: it’s now in walk-in shower! ![]() Last edited by Latherdome : 10-11-2022 at 01:42 PM. |

I have to do the same as well as other forum members who bring tall plants indoors. Your shortened VC will push a new leaf just like nothing happened. To be safe reduce water and fertilizer till you get a real leaf. If the footprint of your other plants are too large you may cut the leaves in half to make the plant fit the growlight area. The short leaves will be replaced next season. I trim to reduce canopy size and to fit more plants under supplemental lights. ![]() Replant after storm damage by Hostafarian, on Flickr ![]() New leaf by Hostafarian, on Flickr.
