Default Dwarf banana, new to growing bananas

Hi All,

I was just given a banana plant, its a dwarf of some sort, I will be growing it in a container. Looks like another sprout is coming up around the crack line in the soil when the pic was taken. I plan on potting it up to a larger pot. I grow Hot Peppers every year but this is my first time working with a banana plant any advice is much appreciated.

Thanks,
Mark

Looks like you may have 2 dwarf bananas! Keep an eye on it, you will know relatively quickly whether you have a spare or something else.

Good Luck!
