Growing my Bananas in pots
I have a few Bananas that i am currently growing in pots...all of them are young but all are doing great! I have a pair of Siam rubies in the ground and an unknown apple type banana that was growing in my yard years ago when i started renting.....these are my container grown Bananas
Musa "Florida D'ang" Dwarf Red Jamaican Banana Dwarf Variegated Nam Wah and two Truly Tiny's (which need to be re-potted, separately, very soon) Variegated Musa Meta Chimera

With the exception of the Meta Chimera picture.... Those were just taken before posting... And they won't go in the ground, they will all be pot grown... no real room to put them in the ground. They're growth rates may be slower but i don't have a problem with that because they will be actively growing consistently year round out side...As they get taller they will be moved around to provide shade for my smaller, younger brugmansia plants which cannot take the direct summer sun of fort lauderdale, Fl ...its a fluid yard where accommodations are made every couple of months to keep everyone within their happy zones as the angle of the sun shifts during the changing of the seasons... If the"old" pic of Meta Chimera is so bothersome to you, here is the latest pic
