Default To live or not to live?

I left this little guy on the porch to long in the blazing sun. will it live? any advice on it?

If I'm reading your post correctly you just separated the pup from main plant then left it in the oven, let it be, it's going to go through some stages till it sets itself(shock, rooting in ect.) I don't give up on them till they turn to moosh xb

Its gonna lose the leafs but after a month you should see growth again and it will be fine Just dont overwater in the meantime.

the main stem is still hard so I know it is alive. This shot was this morning a couple of leaves seem ok othes are struggling. there was a new leaf starting to come out of the stem yesterday but it has stalled

when i transfer them into pots i usually place them in a shade-house and keep them moist without over-watering. in about a month they start to get new growth and then i start to slowly introduce them to more sun before settling them in their final position in a month.

but hey i'm living in temperate/sub-tropical Australia!!!!

its a good looking specimen
