Nanagirl , tell us more about the plant you're potting. That will help determine what you want to know.

Right now they are about 6-8 inches tall. They are supposed to be 4-5 feet tall at maturity.

I put mine which was about half the size as yours when I got it in a 10" pot. Its one of only 2 plants ,that and D. Nam Wah that are really groing well in this cooler than normal weather we're having here. I've only had it a few months and it's about 10" tall (P-stem height)already. I will post some pics tomorrow.

I have two in 17x17inch. pots and they are ready for a bigger pot. Here is one in a yogurt cup and one in a 4inch pot. Start out in a smaller container and repot to a larger one as it grows.

I am currently growing Super Dwarf and it is in a 25 gallon pot and happy. It is 3 1/2 feet tall. at maturity i would plant in a 30 or 45 gallon pot. At the size it is now, i would use a three gallon till it is about a foot and a half. I would think that it wouldn't hurt to go a little larger now b/c of the heat of summer can really dry out pots fast, but you may water differently.
