![]() I have many varieties of houseplants, and want a banana that won't get over 2-3 feet at the most. I like the idea of a Truly Tiny, but are they difficult? I don't care about fruiting--just want an attractive dwarf banana. Which is easier to grow and keep happy indoors in your opinion? SCD or Truly Tiny? Thanks so much!

![]() Neither will be happy indoors but both will grow slowly.
I have an SDC and its getting fairly big for a house plant. If you don't want fruit, I'd say the truly tiny would be a more manageable plant indoors. |

![]() If it won't be happy indoors, I don't think I'll get one after all. I don't want to buy a plant unless I can give it the conditions it wants. Also, I read that some people are allergic to bananas when they handle them. I can't eat them anymore, as I'm allergic, so maybe the chances would be high of me being allergic just by handling them, so, to sum this up, I guess its no banana for me! Thanks for the info.
