![]() I am beginning to think we are all a victim of the fertiziler industry. When
i was young almost everybody here had a vegetable garden with cut flowers. I still wonder how they did it without all those fertilizers. I guess every plant got the same food...something organic. Ron... |

![]() My favorite is Dutch Nutrient Formula. It's organic, water-soluble, odorless, and amazing...
![]() I use a blend for seedlings & cuttings, and also for my flowers, veggies & fruits. : ) |

![]() That's right Cam, because roots are what take in the fertilizer...so if there are no roots, there can be no uptake of nutrients.
![]() Foliage feeding is becoming popular though now too. I also enjoy Blood & Bonemeal as another wonderful organic fertilizer...although the box I have is too ratty and used looking to show pics! ![]() I enjoy eggshells for slow-release calcium, and Epsom salts are a personal favorite too. Sheep & Cow manure and Peat Moss are what I use as garden soil fertilizers and amendments...not to mention "Black Earth". : ) |
