Re: Musa Velutina
the plants were started from seeds about 3 years ago. I've managed to get seeds to germinate in moist cotton. Then transplanted the seeds to soil immediately after. the one which flowered last summer is now cut down and a new pup is now sprouting.

Re: Musa Velutina
I bought the seeds from Frö, Frön & Fröer - Impecta Fröhandel and Vägg i Vägg, two Swedish sites. I had 30 seeds an I got two to germinate, efter five weeks in moist cotton.

Re: Musa Velutina
No it didn´t. It was flowering in autumn and I had to overwinter it cool and dark.
I think this was the reason.

Re: Musa Velutina
Wow the plants are looking really healthy and you don't seem to have any problems with spider mites neither. By the way, is that a naranjilla to the left in the top picture?
