 Even though your Birthday isn't until tomorrow, (Monday, September 27th) I thought I'd start a thread early, to give members a chance to wish you a happy day...  and beyond...  I couldn't remember how old you were turning, or if you told me not to tell anyone, but don't worry, you know I'll be totally discreet...   To lesson the blow, I'll just say... Happy 20th Anniversary of your 30th Birthday!  Would it sound better if I said you were 'half a century' old, or 'five decades'??   Here are some cheering quotes & jokes to ponder on your special day... 1) "You are not 50, just $49.95, plus tax" 2) "Looking 50 is great...if you're sixty"!!! 3) Q)What kind of underpants does a 50-year-old wear? Hi Bob.
Here is a little story about a Gros Michel pup that I gave up on because the center rotted. After potting and tending to the pup for several weeks I decided to cut a little off the top to help a new cigar leaf emerge. But after cutting it I found the center was black, so I cut and cut until it was about 10 inches from the soil line. At that point I gave up and set the pup in an out of the way spot to die and finish rotting. For some reason yesterday I decided to check it, kind of how you check the fridge for a beer when you know there are none there. I gave it a tug thinking it would pull straight out of the soil as a lifeless rotting mass of goo, but strangely it was stuck firm in the potting soil. So I grabbed a single edge blade and started chopping at it again. I found more rot in the middle, until I got to about 2 inches above the soil line. It was there I saw some green surrounded by brown! As of this evening it has pushed out about a half inch of new growth. Happy Birthday. The end. |

The reason why Bob knows exactly what "DEPENDS" are, and that they are adult diapers, is because here he was unashamedly posing in a pair of them recently...
