Where are you located?

I think eveyone should say where they are located, in the left column of the post. I have read numerous posts where a person has asked, "Can I do this where I am?", and when I try to see where they are, all I get is, "Find me on the map." I would like to be able to see someting like, Miami, FL, or Vienna, Austria, not "Find me on the map".

Also, it would be nice, if people would include their real name, under their avatar, so when I replied to a message, I could say, "Charlie, you can do this...", rather than something like, "Manureman, you can do this..."

I agree John, that's why we have the fields there to give everyone the ability to easily add the info.
They are optional, certainly not compulsory... some people like to keep private about certain things, and for good reason at times, too.

I took a look at the map earlier today... I'm amazed every time I look at it but this time it felt different. There were a lot of new pins on the map and I was delighted to see that!

I can understand about privacy issues, but what about just showing the zone where the member is from. Can't imagine how that would be an invasion of privacy. Sometimes it would help understanding the question or the answer if we knew where the member was from.

I second John.
Just recently, someone said that he can grow almost anything including coconuts in almost any zone or place he wants and when I look at where he is located it's nowhere to be found.
I can't believe his statement is true. He is going to make a lot of people believe that.
