Re: Anybody growing Sugar Cane?
topshotta-your cane looks like CP72-1210.Its a Cana Point variety that was grown here in Fl. commercially in the 70's and 80's.Its a good chewing variety but does not come back from stubble well.

Re: Anybody growing Sugar Cane?
heres a large barrel cane of "asian black" sugar cane I just harvested.
This makes a sweet juice with a darker tint and has a mild root beer flavor! Caipirinha-fresh squeezed sugar cane juice with brazilian cachaca and key lime I grow many varieties of hierloom sugar cane and always looking to add more! I sell these on my website.
