Wow, that is quite an amazing structure. Then again, botanical gardens are always full of incredible picturesque views! Thanks for sharing.

The historic Botanical Building was one of the world's largest wood-lath structures when built in 1915

To spend a holiday as well. Really rich in flora.

I especially liked the flesh-eating plants, do you have more mix of them?

Nepenthes, the last picture, is a flesh eating plant. An excellent specimen, when mature, it can eat a rodent.

Or I might be wrong, looks very similar.

Which picture are you referring to? I didn't see any in the photos. I think you mean carnivorous plants, though. There were some Paphiopedilum orchids, which have a pouch, which might have made you think of 'flesh-eating'.

I really like the Paph. lowii!! Very nice!

Sunfish - nice photos. Thanks for sharing. I've only been to San Diego once, and only went to the zoo. I remember Balboa Park being there, but don't recall going in.

Nice. Looks like Nepenthes maxima, or something similar.
