Is this variety edible? I've not been able to track down Verum seeds and this one says hardy to zone 7.

This might sound silly to you guys but I never knew Cinnamon came from a Tree.

lol. We buy it as branches here (in certain shops), about 40cm long and very thin. Curious plant.
