Default Colocasia Illustris

Hey!

I have a Colocasia Illustris that I just planted in the ground from a pot on the porch. The leafs have started to dry up around edges and then curl. Is it getting too much sun? On the porch it got maybe 3-4 hours of sun but now it gets 5-6 hours.Does it need more water? Im including some pictures hopefully it will help diagnose whats going on.

Thanks for your help.

Transplant shock! Just keep it moist and it will grow everywhere!!! This stuff is way too invasive for me. If you have limited space that you want it to grow in, you will constantly be pulling out runners and new plants. I throw over 50-75 away every season just to keep them in check. I would think it will be fine, if not, let me know and I will send you some!!!

Definite transplant shock is all. Mine are very healthy. I only give them less than a half days afternoon sun and grow them by an artificial pond. Got 3 or 4 flowers this year!
Just give it time & keep it moist.

Mine did that after I planted it out in the ground from it's pot. Mine is just now starting to spread, but in the last week it has popped up five new plants. At least it is a really beautiful Colocasia. I just did a post of mine on my blog if you would like to see it. My plant wasn't really that ust bigger when I planted it out. Link is at bottom.

Mine did the same when first planted out. I thought it was too much sun on the leaves as they had not been acclimatised from the poly.

They soon perk up.
