That's normal for a "light starved" plant. You can either try setting it in the sunniest window you have and/or slap a couple lights on it. If it were mine, I'd snip the spindly section out, cut it into a couple pieces & pot them up, making sure it gets lots & lots of light. ![]()

![]() will stay leggy until more sun is provided..will grow and live,but doubt any fruit under thoes conditions..more sun,pots ok for a while..i let mine get a little root bound b4 i repot..when they get fruiting size[10-15 pounds total plant weight]helps to fruit in pots if a little root bound

![]() I always liked to let cacti & succulent parts & pieces to "scab over" (dry out) the fresh cut/break before potting, and then water verrrry sparingly so as not to promote rot.
