Default Ebay

Does anyone have experience buying tropical plants off of ebay? Are there special considerations that I would need to be aware of?
I remember reading in a post about not buying banana pups off of ebay this time of year and I am wondering if this applies to all plants at this time of year?
Thanks
Jasz

Ive bought a couple basjoo's off eBay. My first bananas actually. They arrived fine. You should just make sure your buying from a good seller, Good feedback and all the usual ebay precautions. So in my opinion its fine if you trust the seller to ship it properly and that they know what they are selling.

In most cases I wouldn't have any to have shipped this time of year in your zone unless you have a warm period and trust they will get to your place without going though to cold of weather. It would also depend on what type of banana.

Extremely careful and choosie with the selleer. Ensure you are getting what you think you ordered.
There are a few sellers there I would not waste my time.
