Default First try at Passiflora

First try in attempting to contain Passiflora Invasivia and still grow it out.

Tony --- I put screening in the pots like you said. Think the vines will bust thru? I plan to keep tipping to fill out the cages.

Wish we were so lucky. Had to bring all of the passi inside as the caterpillars were destroying them. Lost 6 plants and got a lot of damage on the others. Spray on the BT, rain washes it off. Oh well, at least it rains often enough to sate the plants.

All those worms on your passion vine are butterflies, the Gulf Fatillery. I cant bring myself to kill them so I always give up a few vines and transfer the worms to them. They can strip it in a very short time. It's one of only maybe 2 or 3 plants that they lay their eggs on.
