i recently saw a show on flowering maples dose any one have them or know something about them i understand they are a member of the holly hock family but thats about all i know sourses for them would be helfull too

Hey Pauly, flowering maple is a commonly grown ornamental usually grown as a houseplant. Try Wayside gardens I think they're in South Carolina. If not ,let me know , they should be pretty easy to find.

I grow them...I started mine from seeds...They are really prone to whiteflys and aphids, but with control, they are beautiful plants...I put mine outside on my east facing deck during the summer and indoors in a west facing window for winter.

To me, they are worth it since I was told they don't "grow" here by a local nursery

thanks all i will post some pics when i get them growing they are not comin here in Las vegas i called all over town looking for them no one even new what i was talking about but most theas pepol are native to vegas (limited Head space)lol J/K
