Re: Fruits!
I love Oranges, especially Navels and Valencias. Currently growing Cara Cara Navel, Meiwa and Nagami Kumquats in pots. Kumquats are mainly a novelty for the ornamental value and the fruits are pretty cute. Wish I had room for those blood oranges too.
Planning on getting a Pomegranate if I come across one, just don't know what cultivar to look for. |

Re: Fruits!
Hi Dar!!
I have been reading up on the Poms, 'Angel Red' is good (and soft-seeded), 'Sweet' is high on flavor - both recommended!! I have a Wonderful, 2 Dwarf & 2 way older mystery Pom's with double blooms...is showing good fruit this year!( I had to 'help' Mother Nature with a soft bristled brush, LOL) The Mandarins are going well(to me), have right around a dozen fruit. Any insight into the calamondin?? WOW Pete!!! A FEW Figs??!! Hope it's a beautiful Morning for you! ~Cheryl

Re: Fruits!
Among the fruits I really love apple. It has a hearty shape and color red. Somewhat signifies to a strong heart like what I have. haha

I forgot the Pomegranates! I'm growing several 'Wonderful", one "Sweet", five from market fruit seed, and one that was gifted to me and reported to have large fruit.

Re: Fruits!
Yeah, I'm not sure why I have so many lemons. Unfortunately, having lemon plants doesn't necessarily equate to having fruit. My Meyer and Ponderosa both bloomed like crazy earlier this year and neither have a single fruit on them. My var. lemon has two!
