Default Giant Sea shell made of citrus!

A giant seashell made with citrus fruits representing the Tahiti islands is seen Saturday, February 16, 2008 in Menton, southern France, illustrating the “Islands of the World” theme for the 75th Lemon Festival.

The decorations made with lemons and oranges recount a new story each year in different scenes.

Following the success of the Fontaine Fables in 2000, the Fairy Tales of Charles Perrault in 2001, Pinocchio in 2002, Alice in Wonderland in 2003, Walt Disney Studios in 2004, Spain in 2005, Menton chose the world’s carnivals with Brazil as guest of honour as the theme for 2006, India for 2007, and has chosen to celebrate the World’s Islands for 2008.
