Instead of waiting for papaya seeds to be plants, I'll just go this route.
Well, my tray full of germinating papaya seeds are still here, but I couldn't pass up this more mature sample. It's "Solo" papaya, tag says it's sweet and ideal for container. Since some members here in Zone 9 California have had trouble with in ground papayas, maybe a container tree will work for me. At $12 I couldn't not get it. Would've gotten another one if my car had space. The other kind for sale was labeled "Mexican" papaya.
