![]() It has been awhile since I posted any pictures of my yard. I thought I would go ahead and do a post and it may be the last update until spring in Kentucky. I wish I could show you my colocasia's, but we had a very dry and hot September and Ocotber this year. Therefore the colocasia's I assume went dormant from the lack of extra water. They did recieve the sprinkler's twice a week, but that wasn't enough.
Hibiscus cannabinus is still beautiful and still blooming. It started blooming 10/1, so it has bloomed for a month and 15 days. ![]() A Canna that has been blooming constantly since last December. ![]() My Windmill Palm that has just started to thicken up and produce a ton of fronds. I can tell it isn't a fan of Florida. ![]() I think we decided this was Yucca gloriosa... it will hurt to move; getting the Band-Aids ready. ![]() Lanai Bed-Castor Bean is 16 months old and the Queen has been there for 17 months. ![]() Rojo Bananas ![]() Sabal brazoria from Steve in NC has grown a lot; I have two others from him. ![]() One of the Windmill's from seed provided by Randy last year. This palm is 10 months old. ![]() Silver Dollar Eucalyptus-How hardy is this type? ![]() Loquat-I am taking it with me... it has doubled in size. ![]() I always thought Sunflower's could be used at Thanksgiving they just can't grow in most places this time of year. Neighbors Thanksgiving Sunflower's. ![]() Filabusta-Not sure if I will take it... doubtful as of now. ![]() One of the many Areca Palms I planted this year. These will look awesome in a few years. ![]() Dwarf Cavendish decided to bloom since I won't be able to enjoy the fruit, lol. ![]() Backyard-Center- Texas Palmetto and Purple Lantana(which smells awesome) ![]() Thank You for reading, Jake |

![]() Absolutely impressive garden there. Best of luck moving and at least you are leaving a happy, flowering nana behind!
